French music makes my toes wiggle
Hi, I'm living in Alabama and I'm bored so I'm making this blog to post random knick knacks and paddy wacks. Here is a nice song I've been listening to lately. The kid who produced and mixed it was 16 at the time he made it. It's very impressive for a 16 year old to come up with a remix like that. It is mostly just pop elements implemented into a chopped up "french house" style of production. Now if you layer great vocals over the produced song - there you go, you got the remix. It is fun to listen to and very catchy, but probably will not last. I've been playing around with this style of production and I find it very fun and easy to make cool tunes using it. Basically, you just create musical line with a bunch of different instruments (often times disco chords and elements are used), then you resample all the parts, then you chop them up. Finally layer a 4 x 4 kick snare pattern over it, throw in some hi hats and your good to go!
